Tasleem
Muqtasid
Tasleem,
respectfully called Mwalimu (which means “teacher” in
Swahili), has been a storyteller for more than a decade
and is active in the Griots (an African-American storytelling
group) and other community groups. Tasleem is also a
Kansas Wolf Trap artist.
