From Java to Tuva: Musical Instruments of the Far EastGo on a musical journey to the Far East as we discover fascinating musical instruments from various cultures of Asia. From the South on the island of Java with the unique bamboo instrument, the Angklung, all the way North to the Tuvan region of Russia where people can sing two notes at once, students will discover how we connect to people of other cultures and learn the geography of the region. Students will create a new song using the instruments and ideas presented in the program.
